1. Test Cases not Generating

  • Issue: Clicking the "Generate Test Cases" button but no test cases are created.
  • Solution: Ensure the Jira ticket has sufficient details, including a title, description, steps, and acceptance criteria. The plugin requires this information to generate relevant test cases.

2. Export to Excel Not Working

  • Issue: The export button does not respond, or test cases are not downloading as an Excel file.
  • Solution: Check if you have the necessary permissions to export files in Jira. If the issue persists, try refreshing the page.

3. Plugin Panel Not Showing in Jira Tickets

  • Issue: The QualityWatcher AI panel is missing from Jira tickets.
  • Solution: Confirm that the plugin is correctly installed and enabled. If it's installed but still not showing, verify that the plugin permissions allow users to access it. You may need to contact your Jira admin for assistance.

4. Regeneration of Test Cases Not Reflecting Changes

  • Issue: When regenerating test cases, the output does not seem to reflect updates made in the Jira ticket.
  • Solution: Ensure you have saved any updates to the ticket before generating test cases again. Try refreshing the page, then click "Generate Test Cases" to see if the new updates are considered.

5. Customization Issues with Test Cases

  • Issue: Currently you cannot directly modify test cases in the QualityWatcher AI panel, this may change in a future release.
  • Solution: Test cases can only be customized after exporting to Excel. Export the file, make changes as needed, and import them into your workflow.
